live lane

A different template for the interactive layer.

This page should feel less like a shelf of essays and more like a threshold. The writing is still the spine, but the app layer is where ideas become inspectable surfaces, navigable maps, and working interfaces.

Knowledge Graph

An interactive constellation of notes and essays. Follow shared tags, projects, and stances instead of browsing the archive one page at a time.

Why this page needed a different template

The old version still looked like a generic archive landing page. That was fine when the route was mostly a reservation, but now it needs to signal a different mode immediately. Apps should feel operational, not merely documented.

  • The writing establishes the questions.
  • The app layer gives those questions manipulable form.
  • The visual language should make that shift obvious within a second or two.

What belongs here

  • Research companions that make conceptual systems easier to inspect.
  • Practical utilities that solve a real workflow problem.
  • Interface experiments where navigation, memory, and interaction matter.

Research companions

Smaller interfaces for testing, comparing, or visualizing a bounded concept without turning the site into generic product sludge.

Experimental interaction loops

Voice-first, branch-aware, or memory-aware interface experiments when they become real enough to deserve a proper front door.
