physics × computer science

I am currently interested in neuromorphic computing. Namely, the requisite materials and method of action, and if it can or could be smaller than the 3lb human brain. I believe that using complex data collection using fundamental physics principles combined with machine learning techniques can help us better understand and design materials for this purpose.
